About Us

Rotary Club Mangaluru Seaside is a voluntary service organisation recognised by the Rotary International Chartered in 2018 and since last 6 years the organisation has conducted various activities like Adoption of Anganvadi, constructed house for the poor family, adopted orphanage, honoured retired teachers, vanamahotsava celebration and various academic activities in Govt. School and also conducted very prestigious events such as "Chinnara Chili Pili" a Children's Festival and "Guruvandana" a Teachers Talent Competition. Our Rotary Club, to push forward its agenda of helping poor and needy, has been giving priority in promoting/managing various events in and around the vibrant city of Mangaluru.
Having sound knowledge and experience of managing such programs for the last several years, we have now on the brink of major leap in the event management with expertise in strong team bustling having energy, enthusiasm and commitment. We have expert planners to device the right strategy for your business into the limelight, by conducting road shows or business promotions, special education, health care, nutritional programmes and family support are the main elements of our work in close partnership with local organisations. Our Rotary International (RI) provides free medical care to the sick and ailing with the dedication, commitment, love and the best of skills, so that they will be cured in body, mind and spirit.

Children's Festival 2025

Nursery Rhymes (Kindergarten)

  • Time limit: 2 minutes
  • Maximum 2 participants per school
  • Teachers/Parents must accompany the child
  • 3 Prizes shall be awarded

Tricycle Race (Kindergarten)

  • Separate competitions for LKG & UKG
  • Any number of entries allowed
  • Tricycle provided by organizers
  • Participants should be accompanied by Teacher/Parent
  • 3 Prizes for each category

Fancy Dress (Kindergarten – 4th Std)

  • Time limit: 2 minutes
  • Maximum 2 participants per school
  • Recorded music allowed (No live music)
  • 3 Prizes will be awarded

Memory Test (1st – 2nd Std)

  • 1 minute to memorize objects
  • Maximum 5 entries per school
  • 3 Prizes shall be awarded

Painting (1st – 4th Std)

  • Maximum 5 entries per school
  • Drawing sheets (12"x16") will be provided
  • Use of crayons, oil paints, water paints allowed (not provided)
  • Theme: “Beautiful Landscape” (1st–2nd) / “Colourful House with Garden” (3rd–4th)
  • Time limit: 90 minutes
  • 3 Prizes per category

Patriotic Song – Group (3rd – 4th Std)

  • Time limit: 4 minutes (3+1)
  • 1 entry per school
  • 4–8 participants per group
  • First 12 entries accepted
  • 3 Prizes will be awarded

Classical Dance – Solo ((5th – 7th Std) &(8th – 10th Std))

  • Time limit: 4 minutes (3+1)
  • 1 entry per school
  • Evaluation: presentation, costume, angahudhi & abhinaya
  • First 12 entries accepted
  • 3 Prizes awarded

Elocution (5th – 7th Std)

  • Time limit: 2+1 minutes
  • 1 entry per school in each category
  • Categories: English & Kannada
  • English Topic: “The Future World”
  • Kannada Topic: “ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಜಗತ್ತು”
  • 3 Prizes in each category

Painting ((5th – 7th Std) & (8th – 10th Std))

  • Maximum 5 entries per school
  • Drawing sheets (12"x16") will be provided
  • No pencil sketch allowed
  • Themes:
    • “Festival – Dasara” (5th–7th Std)
    • “Nature” (8th–10th Std)
  • Time limit: 90 minutes
  • 3 Prizes per category

Folk Dance – Group (5th – 7th Std)

  • Time limit: 5 minutes (4+1)
  • 1 entry per school
  • 4–8 participants allowed
  • First 12 entries accepted
  • 3 Prizes will be awarded

Quiz (8th – 10th Std)

  • Team of 2 members
  • Maximum 2 entries per school
  • Quiz conducted in written format
  • 3 Prizes awarded

Collage (8th – 10th Std)

  • Team of 2 members
  • Maximum 2 entries per school
  • Drawing sheet (22"x28") provided
  • Materials: newspaper, magazine, oil/water paints allowed (not provided)
  • Theme: “Incredible India” / “ಅದ್ಭುತ ಭಾರತ”
  • Time limit: 120 minutes
  • 3 Prizes awarded

Filmy Dance – Group (8th – 10th Std)

  • Time limit: 5 minutes (4+1)
  • 1 entry per school
  • 4–8 participants allowed
  • First 12 entries accepted
  • 3 Prizes awarded

General Rules and Regulations

  • Please Register online: https://www.rcmseaside.com on or before 6th November 2025
  • Competition will start sharp at 9:00 AM on 9th November 2025 at the University College , Mangaluru
  • Participants will be provided with sounds, lights, and an LCD display screen. However, it is the responsibility of each team to designate a responsible individual to oversee these elements during their respective performances
  • Order of performance will be decided on the day of the event
  • All participants are requested to report at the venue at 8:30 AM
  • Each event will be awarded with 3 prizes
  • Respecting religious and racial sentiments is essential. Promoting any kind of hate speech, discrimination or incitement of violence based on religion, race or supporting any kind of political agendas must be avoided. Any team found violating this rule will be stopped from further performance.

The decision to change/cancel/alter the program rests with the organizers. The organizers decision will be final in any matter that may arise in the due course of the event.
